About

Sophia Darling is a Casting Director located in Savannah/Atlanta, Georgia area. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA and a triple minor in Casting, Acting for Camera, and Art History.

While at SCAD she studied under multiple seasoned Casting Directors, including Alpha Tyler (Former Casting Director at BET studios) and Michele Heilburn (Former Casting Director at The CW).

Sophia has always desired to be a part of the magic of acting and started school thinking she wanted to be a performer. She loved being around actors, but realized it wasn’t her calling. She took one casting class and she said the puzzle pieces fell into place. 

​

She currently works as a freelance Casting Director and has worked on 10+ projects ranging from satire to horror. Sophia has desire to cast and wants to cast in every genre and type of project. She helps makes director's dreams a reality by finding the best of the best and performer's dreams a reality by helping them find their perfect role.

Outside of work she is a cat mom of three; Cheesecake, Choux Bun, and Banana Bread. She also loves video games and will ace any quiz regarding Star Wars.
